MyUS.com expands borderless shopping services in the GCC
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 23 - 08 - 2016

Catering to the Middle East's growing demand for US goods, MyUS.com, America's leading package forwarding and consolidation company, shipping more than 10,000 parcels daily around the world, has announced the expansion of its services in the GCC. As a result, customers residing in the GCC can now use MyUS.com in Arabic (MyUS.com/ar/) to sign-up for MyUS.com services, get access to US brands, and receive substantial savings on shipping costs and high-speed delivery to the region.
The services works by providing customers with a unique MyUS address to use when shopping US retailers, following which the customer is then able to customize both carrier preference and shipping method. Crucially, parcels are then consolidated into a single shipment to substantially reduce international shipping costs and re-packaged using lighter, eco-friendly, yet protective materials. Customers in the GCC using MyUS services will be able to receive the different items that they have purchased across different shops in only one shipment.
Commenting on the introduction of its Arabic-language services, Ramesh Bulusu, MyUS.com CEO, said: "Over the last 5 years our team has noticed a growing trend amongst Middle Eastern residents to purchase US based goods, to the extent that the MENA region now makes up one of our top global markets. In particular we are seeing increasing interest from countries such as Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait. With the introduction of our Arabic language services, we aim to enable more local residents to shop online from any American store and receive their items quickly and cost effectively."
MyUS.com/ar/ offers an unmatchable service, which empowers consumers with the ability to consolidate multiple packages, offering as much as 80% in savings as a result. MyUS.com/ar/ allows customers to track packages online in real-time, ensuring a hassle-free experience, with the use of FedEx and DHL – two of the quickest and most reliable services available today.
From global shipping logistics to country-specific restrictions and export information, MyUS.com/ar/ also gives customers the expertise to make shopping at US stores and shipping around the world simple.
"MyUS.com has nurtured the philosophy of connecting American retailers to international consumers, at a competitive value. MyUS.com believes that customers should not be restricted by their location, nor by the price point at which their goods are delivered. A simple and reliable service has allowed MyUS.com to flourish globally, offering cost-effective shipping methods and complete online account management to over 350,000 members in over 220 countries.
Through the introduction of MyUS.com in Arabic, we are seeking to better serve local consumer demand by opening up new avenues of e-commerce and connecting retailers to demand they are often unaware exists on an international platform," added Bulusu.
MyUS has been named to Inc. magazine's 5000 fastest growing private companies in US six times since 2008, and for good reason.
