Kamran and Khalid excel in WPCA

JEDDAH — Khalid of GBest IDB cracked a ton and Kamran of Zamil Cool Care scalped 6 wickets for 7 including a hat trick in the 17th week hostilities in WPCA Summer Morning Tournament here.
ALJ Toshiba continued its dominance by defeating Arcoma by 46 runs. ALJ Toshiba racked up 189 for 6. Zahid scored 39. He added 77 with Basheer (51). Bilal made 33 and Aftab 29. Nabeel took 3-33 and Majid 2-35. Arcoma replied with 143 for 9. Pervez hit 34 and Ayaz remained unbeaten on 21.
Taher stroked 45 to add 57 with Ismail (14). Bilal claimed 3-39 and Sheraz 2-13.
Zamil Cool Care thrashed Azizya Elegant by 150 runs. Zamil Cool Care piled up 188 for 5 with Wajid making an unbeaten 54 in 33 balls, Asad 48 not out and Kamran 33. Yahya Sadiq grabbed 3-34. Azizya Elegant crashed for 38 as Kamran grabbed 6 for 7 including a hat trick. Rizwan took 2-4.
Al-Mazroi Salonpas trounced ADI XI by 35 runs. Al-Mazroi plundered 179 for 7. Salman Patel blasted 66 with 5 fours. He first added 54 with Farooq Patel (26) and then 52 with Faisal Patel (28). Bilal scalped 4 for 32. ADI XI, in response, could make only 144. Faisal stroked 44, Adeel 19, Nabeel 23 and Makki 21. Saqib claimed 4 wickets for 24, while Faisal Patel had 3-32 and Abdullah 2-30.
GBest IDB crushed Emper Perfumes by 96 runs. GBest racked up 216 for 2 thanks to a fine century by Khalid, who remained unbeaten on 104 off 44 balls with 10 sixes and 5 fours as he added 177 for the second wicket in 92 balls with Aamer (71). Waseem added 15. Emper Perfumes was left stranded at 120 for 7. Sajjad remained unbeaten on 21, while Ejaz and Farhan added 15 each and Junaid 16. Abdul Quddus grabbed 4-18.
Stallions thumped Cousins XI by 78 runs. Stallions piled up 200 for 6. Asghar slashed 24, Asim 29 and Adnan 24. Jahanzeb and Hassan Ali compiled 45 each to add 76. Cousins XI was restricted to 122 for 9. Irfan Khan fought a lonely battle with 53 and Naveed Seher remained unbeaten on 18. Hassan Ali scalped 3 for 9 and Jawad 2-18.
Royal Brothers humbled Haneefa Tigers by 10 wickets. Haneefa Tigers was bundled out for 62. Faisal made 34. Haneef Khan took 3-18 and Shoaib 2-24. Royal Brothers reached 63 in 30 balls with all 10 wickets intact. Hamid Khan scored 40 not out and Abdullah Khan remained unbeaten on 19.
ATC trounced Jeddah Challengers by 47 runs. ATC produced 177 for 5. Naseer hit 61 in 31 balls as he added 129 for the second wicket with Kashif (65). M Fawad took 3-19. Jeddah Challengers, in reply, was left stranded at 130 for 4. Ahmed remained unbeaten on 77 off 44 balls with 4 fours and 4 sixes as he first added 50 with Fawaz Kidwai (11) and then 68 with Mohammad Fahad (18). Shahzad took 2-18.
MFCC had the better of Al-Kabbani by 6 wickets. Al-Kabbani Cricket Group got to 154 for 9. Imran Qaisar battled alone with 70 off 26 balls. Sohail added 27. Zia grabbed 4-20 and Shafaqat 3-22. MFCC reached 158 for 4 in 106 balls. Shafaqat scored 45 as he added match-winning 77 with Imran (51). Jibran was run out on 30 and Arsalan hit 16. Imran Qaisar took 2-29.
Wolves XI crushed Hyderabad Strikers by 120 runs. Wolves XI blasted 252 for 7. Yasir scored 46 as he added 125 for the opening stand with Sohail (67 in 31 balls). Irfan smashed 59 and Nasir 33. Irfan took 2-31. Hyderabad Strikers, despite a fighting innings by Irfan (71), could score only 132 for 8. Faizan stroked 16. Waleed claimed 3-28, Kareem 2-5 and Nazeer 1-22.
