No. 11 Georgetown 69, St. John's 49: Hollis Thompson scored all of his 20 points in the second half and No. 11 Georgetown snapped a two-game losing streak with a victory over St. John's at Madison Square Garden. Iona 74, Loyola (MD) 63: Lamont Jones scored 25 points and Mike Glover had 20 points and 15 rebounds as Iona (14-4, 6-1) won at home, beating the Greyhonds (12-5, 5-2) in a game between the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference's co-leaders.
