Published in The Saudi Gazette on 20 - 06 - 2016

KEYSIGHT Technologies, Inc., a global electronic measurement technology and market leader, has announced that Motabaqah will be the Authorized Technology Representative (ATR) and the Authorized Service Partner (ASP) for UAE and Bahrain in order to offer world-class electronic measurement services to customers. Motabaqah is one of the largest companies in Saudi Arabia which offers quality based safety testing services to its customers covering 10 different industry sectors.
Motabaqah's regional presence and strong focus on electronic measurement solutions was a key reason for this new partnership. The robust growth potential of electronic measurement services in the region which has been growing in double digits is also a significant factor that both companies hope to capitalize on while raising the standards of electronic measurement in the region. Motabaqah will be opening a state-of-the-art repair and calibration lab in Abu Dhabi to better serve the customers in UAE and the other GCC countries. Some of the key industry sectors which are driving this growth in the region are the telecom sector with its focus on LTE and 5G services, where Keysight has developed innovative industry-leading tools in this field. The growth of regional research centers in the Education sector has also been a major driver for electronic measurement services.
The Defense sector across the region has also contributed to the demand for electronic measurement services.
According to Eng. Metab Al Saif, CEO of Motabaqah,"we are pleased to establish this partnership with Keysight, in order to support our customers and help them launch electronic products to market faster while utilizing the deep domain expertise of Keysight and our local insights to take a leadership role in the regional electronic measurement market. We also have ambitions that go beyond UAE and Bahrain."
"Motabaqah‘s expertise in the selection and support of Keysight test measurement equipment is a great benefit for our highly valued customers in the GCC countries," said Benoit Neel, Vice President and General Manager for Keysight Technologies in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India. "We are very pleased to partner with them to support this region.
From our perspective, no other company offers the breadth and depth of measurement tools and expertise that Keysight has to meet critical requirements for electronic measurement globally and here in the region. We look forward to a successful partnership with Motabaqah."
Motabaqah, already a Keysight Technologies Authorized Service Partner for the GCC countries, is now completely dedicated to the sales and servicing of Keysight products. This enables Keysight to better serve customers in the region.
