Game Pro, Shuraim, Jamiaa, Khalili Star, Run Riderz and Royal Fighter recorded victories in the RCL Western Union Ersal T20 Cup here recently.
The highlights of the matches were excellent bowling by Zakaria, Faisal, Shoiab Heera, Asim Ghazi and Basith, centuries and fifties by Waqas, Tabrez, Shafiq, Mushtak, Akmal, Mustafa and Aziz and all-round performance by Mustaq, Asim and Madani.
Super League
Game Pro CC got the better of Telangana Warriors by 2 wickets. Batting first, Telangana Warriors scored 147 through Waseem (50 not out), Rafay (18) and Abu Ayan (19). Zakaria and Amer took 3 wickets each. In reply, Game Pro held its nerves and surpassed the target in 19.5 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Shammi hit 47 not out and Yousuf 28. Ehsan claimed 2-12, Amer 2-27 and Mubashir 1-30. Man of the Match: Shammi.
Shuraim CC won against Fuchs by 121 runs. Batting first, Shuraim made 250. Waqas hit a brilliant 108, Javed 45 and Inam 37. Javed took 3-53, Mustaqeem 3-32 and Mohsin 1-30. For Fuchs, Asghar scored a fighting 51, Javed 32 and Zahid 18 its total of 121 all out. Faisal claimed 4-14, Shahnawaz 4-30 and Shoukat 1-5. Man of the Match: Waqas.
Mehran CC prevailed over Phaktunkhwa by 43 runs. Batting first Mehran tallied 194 through Shafiq (68), Usman (38) and Ibrahim (37). Farman picked up 2-32, Arshad 2-40 and Asif 1-29. Phaktunkhwa, in reply, was bowled out for 153. Arshad made 43, Naveed 29, Jamil 22. Ibrahim took 2-25, Asad 1-14 and Fakhre 1-20. Man of the Match: Shafiq.
Premier League
Khalili Stars won against Pak CC by 12 runs. Batting first Khalili Star posted 169-8 through Aziz (74), Asghar (29), Adeel (12) and Riyaz (17). Asad claimed 2-23, Ishtiaq 1-34 and Danish 1-30. In reply Pak CC scored 157. Danish hit 27, Talal Javed 24 and Raheel 23. Shoaib Heera took 3-28, Shakeel 1-23 and Ashraf 1-34. Man of the Match: Aziz.
Jamiaa CC got better of Deccan Knights Glory CC by 17 runs. Jamiaa CC 173-6 (Mushtak 57, Javed 52 and Ejaz 22; Hammad 3-34, Kamran 2-20 and Numan 1-22). Deccan Knights Glory 156 all out (Numan 56, Wasif 30, Vency 28; Naaz 2-28, Nisar 2-29 and Mushtak 1-26). Man of the Match: Mushtaq.
Run Riderz CC registered a 6-wicket victory over South Indian Stunnerz CC. South Indian Stunnerz 147 (Karim 42, Younus 17, Musaad 14, Latif 14; Asim 4-18, Basith 3-35 and Mahmood 2-28). Run Riderz CC reached the target losing 4 wickets in 15.3 overs (Akmal 75 not out, Rayees 19, Minhaj 14, Asim 10; Musad 2-9, Latif 1-20 and Shoiab 1-30. Man of the Match: Asim.
Royal Fighter CC got the better of Diamond 2 CC by 4 wickets. Diamond 189-1 (Tabrez 100 not out, Javed 44, Naeem 25; Madani 1-31). Royal Fighter 190-6 (Mustafa 52, Qaiser 35, Madani 30, Abdul Malik 21; Tabrez 2-31, Naeem 2-28, Azhar 1-32). Man of the Match: Mohamed Mustafa.— SG
