Fire breaks out in a Makkah hotel tower

Smoke billows as fire breaks out in the rear part of the 5th floor of a 20-storey hotel tower in Makkah's Al-Shuhada district Friday morning. Civil Defense firemen extinguished the inferno before it could spread. No one was hurt. Investigations on the causes of the fire are under way, Makkah Civil Defense spokesman Maj. Naif Al-Shareef said. – SPA
