Impressive performance in CBSE exams across KSA

JEDDAH – Students of international schools in Saudi Arabia have made outstanding performance in the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi in March.
The CBSE declared the results of XII on Saturday with an overall pass percentage of 83.05. The students of International Indian School Dammam have performed exceedingly well. The Kingdomwide toppers in science and commerce streams are from the school.
Samarth Shah who secured 97 percent in science and Yusra Khan who scored 96.6 percent in commerce are the toppers. All 671 students, including 386 girls, who sat the exams passed, giving the school a 100 percent success rate. Shalu Francis who scored 96.6 percent stood second in the science stream while Clarin Preetika who scored 96.4 percent stood third in science. Nehwath Fathima stood first in humanities with 93.6 percent. Saima Abdus Samad (95.8 percent) and Pavithra Preetha (95.6 percent) stood second and third in commerce stream. Rafath Jahan and Shanima Shams shared second position in humanities with 92 percent marks.
Of the total 543 students who sat the examination from International Indian School, Jeddah, 44 secured more than 90 percent marks. A total of 520 students passed with 60 percent marks and above, 11 are placed in compartment and one student failed.
Lamiah Basheer is the topper in the school with 96.8 percent marks. She is the second overall topper in the Kingdom. Nuha Khan who scored 95.8 percent came second while Maleeha Nousheed and Fathima Lamiya who scored 95.6 percent shared the third position.
Farsin Ahmed Niwas scored 100 percent marks in physics and Sumiya Khalid Ali Khan scored 100 percent in sociology. There are 1,862 distinctions in different subjects and 694 A1 grades.
International Indian School-Riyadh (IISR) scored 97.8 percent results. Out of a total of 635 students who wrote the exams, 621 passed and 14 failed. A total of 253 students won with distinction and 507 secured first class.
Sahel Basharat is the topper with 96.6 percent in science stream and Shahbaz Basheer (96.2 percent) came second while the third position was shared by Sharon Jancy Gigy and Jiyana Roy with 95.2 percent marks in science.
Teena Biju who scored 95.8 percent is the topper in commerce while the second and third positions bagged by Ayesha Shafique Ansar (93.6 percent) and Tazeen (92.4 percent) marks.
In the humanities stream, Nazira Begum and Sithi Hajarah Shah who scored 92.2 percent are the toppers. Saud Nasir (91.4 percent) and Basila Thenari (89.4 percent) came second and third respectively.
Al-Falah International School-DPS, Jeddah scored excellent results. Of the total 55 students appeared for the exam, 28 of them won distinction while 20 emerged with first class. C.R. Sasweth stands tall as the school topper while Faiz Rahman and Vraj Swetal Mashruwala secured second and third positions respectively.
New Al Wurood International School, Jeddah also scored 100 percent results. Tihami Phathapet and Ameera Banu Parayil shared the top position in science with 88 percent. Hamza Mubeen clinched the second position with 86 percent and Samiya Nishath secured the third position with 80 percent. Mahroofa Mohammed Ali topped in the commerce stream with 86 percent.
All 66 students who appeared for the examination from Al Mawarid International school, Jeddah passed with 22 scoring distinction while 42 winning first classes and 2 second class. Meron Ogbai Kahssie is the school's topper with 93 percent marks in science.
Swetha Saminathan (88.6 percent) and Shemrin ( 87.4 percent) respectively scored second and third positions in science. In commerce, Sheyema Sultan topped with 85.2 percent and Ruqaiya Fatima stood second and Jasil Mon secured second and third positions respectively.
Jubail International Indian School also scored excellent performance results where a total number of 163 students appeared for the exam. Tabuk Indian School scored 96 percent results, with 25 out of 26 students passing the exams.
