Al-Kharaj League semifinalists finalized

RIYADH —Pak Shaheen, King Faisal Blues, Lahore Lions and Amer Holidays emerged as the top four of Al-Kharaj League in the ongoing SCC Cup 2016. This T20 tournament is organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and sponsored by Saudi Cricket Center (SCC).
Al-Kharaj League
In a high-scoring thriller, King Faisal Blues pulled off a stunning run chase against Pak Shaheen to win by 7 wickets. Batting first, Pak Shaheen posted a huge total of 253-6. Abdul Waheed continued his form with a brilliant 110 off 53 balls. Faisal (47) and Abdul Wahab (30) also batted well. Imtiaz and Munawar grabbed 2 wickets each. In reply, King Faisal Blues chased the target in 19.2 overs. Waseem Riyaz blasted an amazing 100 in 49 balls with 8 sixes and 8 fours. Ayaz remained not out on 69.
Iftikhar's 49 off 19 balls completed the epic chase. Ibrar took 2 wickets.
Pakistan Falcon lost to Sama Steel by 12 runs. Sama Steel scored 192. Asif top scored with 52 and Qaiser smashed 46. In reply, Pakistan Falcon could manage only 180. Waseem Jabbar blasted 88 in 49 balls and Yasir mustered 32 but the rest of the batting failed completely. Raja took 3 wickets, while Latafat grabbed 2.
Riyadh Aces was humbled by Falcons by 6 runs. Falcons scored 196-8. Kashif scored 54 and Farhan 36. Nadeem and Saleem contributed 30 runs each. Rizwan picked up 3 wickets while Imran bagged 2. Riyadh Aces was restricted to 190. Rizwan (76) and Hassan (63) smashed fifties.
Diriyah League
Bannu Eagles thrashed Delhi Daredevils by 90 runs. Sadiq Khan's stunning 121 off 39 balls enabled Bannu Eagles to put on a massive total of 268 in the allotted 20 overs. Ramzan and Sunny took 2 wickets each. Aziz made 25. Delhi Daredevils managed 178, in reply. Ramzan (64) and Sunny (31) put up some fight.
Hara United was crushed by Professional Creation by 4 wickets. Hara United posted 174. Waleed top scored with 37 and Najmi hit 28. Chess and Fenil shared 3 wickets each.
Professional Creation reached the target in 18.4 overs. Guhan and Subair scored 45 and 44, respectively. Ahmed and Abdullah grabbed 2 wickets each.
Seham downed Eirad Travels by 9 wickets. Eirad Travels collected 143 in the allotted overs. Asif picked up 2 wickets. Seham blasted 144 runs in 12.3 overs. Noor (68) and Naveed (53) completed the chase.
Al-Harbi defeated Habib Telecom by 4 wickets. Habib Telecom racked up 145. Rabbani hit 42 and Jawad 25. Naimat Ullah bagged 3 wickets. Aftab (40), Salman (39) and Hanif (33) helped Al-Harbi chase down the target in 14.2 overs. Adnan took 2 wickets.
Challengers XI lost to Kashmir XI by 1 wicket. Challengers XI posted 164. Kartik scored 24, while Hassan and Veeril contributed 21 runs each. Azhar picked up 3 wickets. Arif and Majid claimed 2 wickets each. Kashmir XI succeeded in 19 overs. Shawkat Bhat smashed 59 not out to win the low scoring thriller. Hassan, Kartik and Sameer grabbed 2 wickets each.
