Massive scores was the rule of the day during round 7 of the SAIB Cricket Tournament, which is organized by Riyadh Cricket Association and sponsored by Saudi Arabian Investment Bank, here.
Al-Kharaj League
Pakistan Falcons beat CKK by 2 wickets in the 40-over league. Batting first, CKK posted 308 for 8. Najeeb Asgher played a mind-blowing knock of 189 off 130 balls. Kashif hit 53. Nouman pocketed 3 wickets and Awais 2. In reply, Pakistan Falcons reached the target in 38.2 overs. Yasir led the chase with a brilliant 100. Awais, Hamza and Waseem contributed 40, 35 and 31, respectively. Nauman claimed 3 wickets, while Saud and Imran took 2 each.
Sama Steel defeated Riyadh Aces by a massive margin of 171 runs. Sama Steel produced a huge total of 451 for the loss of 8 wickets. Ramzan (67), Hashmi (71) and Zuhaib (82) scored fifties, while Irshad cracked 112 off 57 balls. Kashif remained unbeaten on 44. Riyadh Aces was restricted to 280. Asif Butt was the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets. Asif and Arshad grabbed 2 each.
KFSH Blues lost to Falcons by 30 runs. Falcons scored 339 for 7. Kamran Akram smashed 148. Farhan made 59 and Waseem 40. Usman picked up 3 wickets. Raja and Iftikhar bagged 2 wickets each. KFSH Blues was all out for 309. Imtiaz blasted 51, Waseem 49, Khurram 47, Nasir 43 and Usman 38. Siraj scalped 3 wickets, while Farhan and Manzoor picked up 2 each.
Diriyah League
Nouman Gymkhana downed Karachi Dolphins. Nouman Gymkhana scored 203 for the loss of 9 wickets. Shahzad smashed 72, Hafeez 48 and Aftab 37. Zain and Raheel clinched 3 wickets each. Karachi Dolphins was bowled out for 191. Kareem Ullah (32), Furqan (29) and Minhaj (27) batted well. Aftab scalped 4 wickets and Zia 3.
Youngsters XI thrashed Naz by 23 runs. Youngsters piled up 200 with Fawad making 60 and Yasir 31. Tahir took 2 wickets. Naz could score only 177. Athar bowled exceptionally well to bag a 5-wicket haul and Mehmood got 2. Atif top scored with 32.
Shumaisy Fighters beat Detecon Eagles by 8 wickets. Detecon Eagles collected 194. Shumaisy Fighters reached 195 in 18.4 overs. Atif (57), Sajid (42) and Mohsin (42) ensured an easy win.
United Lions lost to Bannu Eagles by 9 wickets. United Lions was all out for 144. Hareesh scored 50 and Altaf made 30. Nouman grabbed 3 wickets. Bannu Eagles was home in 12.2 overs. Shaheen was out for 69, while Azizullah remained not out on 73.
Delhi Dare Devils lost to Phoenix by 37 runs. Phoenix scored 201 for 7. Noman smashed 70, Antar 40 and Habib 32. Ramzan and Nazim took 2 wickets each. Delhi Dare Devils was restricted to 164 for 9. Ramzan (24) and Nazim (20) showed some fight. Ghufran, Raja and Antar took 2 wickets each.
Saudi Zaas defeated Sahara Net by 9 wickets. Sahara Net posted 113. Faheem, Faiz and Laiq scalped 2 wickets each. Saudi Zaas reached the target in 14.4 overs. Ijaz (57), Arslan (28) and Lal (20) took Zaas to victory.
Challengers XI humbled King Lions XI by 4 wickets. King Lions posted 168. Challengers chased the target in 17 overs. Virul blasted 62, while Ihsan and Sony mustered 45 and 33, respectively. Russel took 2 wickets.
