Amer Holidays dominates SCC Cup

RIYADH — Amer Holidays continued to dominate the SCC Cup 2016 as it registered another victory in Round 6 of tournament here.
The T20 tournament is sponsored by Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC) and organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA).
In Al-Kharaj League, Amer Holidays registered a 49-run win over Riyadh Aces. Nadeem with 40, Asim 34 and Samiullah 33 took Amir Holidays to 206 for 7. Imran took 3 wickets and Rizwan 2. In reply, Riyadh Aces was restricted to 157. Umar showed some resistance with 51. Nadeem bowled exceptionally well and picked up 4 wickets, Saeed grabbed 3.
Sama Steel beat Lahore Badshah by 39 runs. Sama Steel posted 204. Irshad stroked 93 and Kashif 27. Lahore Badshah could manage only 165. Irshad and Safeer shared 3 wickets each.
Lahore Lions thrashed Falcons by 5 wickets. Kashif hit 39, Saleem 37 and Nadeem 30 to help Falcons to 199 for 8. Nawaz claimed 3 wickets and Saud 2. In reply, Mansoor blasted 61 and Qamer 58 to chase down the target in 18.5 overs for Lahore Lions. Farhan bagged 2 wickets.
Pak Shaheen routed Pakistan Falcons by 49 runs. Pak Shaheen scored 233 for 5. Abdul Waheed played a brilliant knock of 148 off 65 balls. Asad added 42.
Pakistan Falcons managed 184. Yasir top scored with 80 and Hamza made 36. Abdul Aziz and Faisal picked up 3 wickets each.
In Hayer League, White Star cruised to a 4-wicket win over Rising Star. Rising Star piled up 188. Irfan (51), Bilal (48) and Ahmed (34) were among the runs. Irfan took 2 wickets. White Star chased down the target in 16.5 overs. Umer remained unbeaten on 88, Asif helped with 37. Ahmed pocketed 3 wickets.
Lahore Badshah Green humbled Pak United by 3 wickets. Pak United collected 137. Adnan scored 33 and Ali 27. Ilyas bagged 3 wickets. Lahore Badshah Green reached home in 17.5 overs. Jahangir scored 51 not out and Guhar 22. Omar picked up 3 wickets.
Ravi thumped Smashers by 117 runs. Ravi scored 200. Adnan smashed a stunning 112 off just 49 balls. Fahim took 3 wickets and Sami 2. Smashers fumbled to just 83. Fahim showed some resistance with 26. Afzal claimed 3 wickets and Abu Baker 2.
Saudi Zaas won against PTI by 3 wickets. PTI racked up 205. Danish and Ijaz scalped 2 wickets each. Saudi Zaas got to the target in 19.4 overs. Suhail made 61, Faisal 40 and Ijaz 36.
TBCC humbled Thales by 9 wickets. Thales compiled 187 for 8. Shameem and Cheriyan took 2 wickets each. TBCC scored 189 in 16.1 overs. Faisal scored 89 not out and Shamnad 40.
Indian Strikers flattened Riyadh Panthers by 39 runs. Indian Strikers compiled 220 for 7, thanks to Sunil (58), Mithun (53), Ashraf (46) and Prasanth (40). Riyadh Panthers scored 181. Aijaz (65) and Wasim (56) scored fifties. Mithun collected 3 wickets.
Insaf crushed by Riyadh Royals by 6 wickets. Insaf notched 190 for 5 wickets. Shehzad bagged 3 wickets and Raja 2. Riyadh Royals achieved the target in 18 overs. Inam led the chase with an unbeaten 53, while Banaras and Murtaza contributed 41 and 33, respectively.
