LG leads the UHD viewing experience to a whole new fresh level with its second-to-none M+ (RGBW) technology that adds white color sub pixels to the color filter of a conventional RGB LCD panel to create a fabulous image; hence M+ technology is a giant leap forward in display advanced technology. "Made in Korea" ensures the reliability of this technology and product. RGBW applies 4 different blends including the RGB, WRG, BWR and GBW. TVs which are equipped with the LG's RGBW know-how have improved brightness and energy effectiveness. On the other hand, some of the other brands still using traditional RGB panel which has a smaller aperture ratio due to the colored pixels that only it owns. RGBW technology instead has extra white pixels, which means more brightness and vividness. More importantly LG's RGBW-enabled UHD TVs are able to produce up to 50% more brightness compared to the conventional RGB screen in addition to up to 37% extra capability. The RGBW technology satisfies 3 basic elements of the 4K standard: resolution, color and 4K up-caling.
