Joynal hammers century

Joynal blasted a century (100) as Tigers XI defeated Fateh XI in the SSC T20 Cup, sponsored by Saudi Cricket Centre here. In other matches, Lahore Lions, Pak Dauliya and Azad XI won their respective matches.
Tigers XI got the better of Fateh XI by 4 wickets. Fateh XI, batting first, produced 176 with Yameen making 64 and Ashfaque 31. Tigers XI, in reply, reached 177-6 through a fine century by Joynal (100). Shakir (19) and Usman (11) were the other main scorers. Haroon and Umair grabbed 2 wickets each. Joynal was adjudged the Man of the Match.
Lahore Lions, opting to bat first, piled up 200-7 through Zahid (52), Iftikhar (28) and Faisal (22). Imran took 2 wickets, while Waqar, Aafaq and Sher Ali got one each. Pak Unayzah, in response, fell short of 11 runs to be stranded at 189-9. Imran Khan stroked 53, Waqar 38 and Abdul Rehman 35. Faisal, Zahid and Shahid claimed 2 wickets each. Zahid was named the Man of the Match.
Pak Dauliya had the last laugh against Bismillah CC by 7 wickets. Bismillah CC posted 210 with Shahid making 82, Sahbbir 54, Tanveer 28 and Arif 18. Sajid Cheema took 2 wickets. Pak Dauliya made 211 in 111 balls with 7 wickets to spare. Yasir Sattar smashed 94 and Ashfaque 86. Usman claimed 2 scalps and Shahid one. Yasir Sattar won the Man of the Match prize.
Azad XI defeated Faisal XI by 42 runs. Azad XI, batting first, racked up 176. Arab Hussain made 39, Manzoor 22 and Kashif 21. Naveed grabbed 3 wickets, while Haider and Imran Khan took 2 each. Faisal XI, in chase, was bowled out for 134. Imran Khan made 38 and Naveed 22. Zubair grabbed 3 wickets, Sajjad Iqbal 2 and Arab Hussain 1. Arab Hussain was awarded with the Man of the Match prize.
