Cadillac 2017 XT5 makes regional debut
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 07 - 11 - 2015

Cadillac's next generation of luxury, performance and prestige debuts at the Dubai International Motor Show 2015.
The iconic auto brand will be unveiling its first ever 2017 CT6 and 2017 XT5 models – for the first time ever in the Middle East and the world – at the Dubai International motor show, which runs on Nov. 10-14 at the Dubai World Trade Center.
Visitors to the all new and expanded Cadillac stand will be able to discover a total of nine Cadillac models, including the 2017 CT6, 2017 XT5, 2016 ATS and ATS-Coupe, 2016 ATS-V Sedan and Coupe, 2016 Escalade Platinum, 2016 CTS, and 2016 CTS-V.
Cadillac's new lineup reinforces the brand's unabated commitment to building a product portfolio with expressive designs, innovative breakthroughs, and unparalleled comfort and technological features.
"Cadillac's expanded and elevated portfolio of new vehicles combines an elegant blend of luxury and performance," said Felix Weller, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Cadillac. "Our growing lineup reflects our mission to offer luxury-driven, discerning Middle East and Levant customers, who truly identify with Cadillac's bold self-expression, a wider offering of vehicles that encapsulate the true essence of Cadillac. These new models promise enhancements in performance, design, efficiency, and connectivity – all delivered in a fashion that is uniquely Cadillac."
Making its Global Premiere at the auto show is the first-ever 2017 XT5, the cornerstone of a new series of Cadillac crossovers, all bearing the "XT" designation – with each number indicating relative size and position. It succeeds the current SRX, Cadillac's best-selling product line worldwide. The first-ever XT5 crossover was crafted to help customers outsmart whatever task they have at hand. Its flexible interior is filled with advanced features to help keep drivers and passengers comfortable and connected, while the sharp exterior lines make a striking statement. A thoroughly progressive vehicle both inside and out, the XT5 was designed to accommodate the needs of customers, while expressing their distinctive sense of style.
Also making its regional debut at the Dubai International Motor Show 2015 will be the 2017 Cadillac CT6, a new formula for the prestige sedan. The range-topping CT6 expands the Cadillac portfolio and introduces agility and efficiency to the realm of prestige cars. While larger and more spacious than any current Cadillac sedan, CT6 will be the lightest and most agile large sedan. Its design is distinctly Cadillac – it is a true rear-wheel drive car, with a dramatic dash-to-axle ratio offering classic long, low proportion and luxury presence. New technologies increase driver vision, connectivity and control, including Cadillac's Magnetic Ride Control and a new active 4-wheel steering system for superb agility. A range of new engines includes the all-new Cadillac Twin Turbo engine that rewards with power on demand. With the 2016 CT6, passengers are ensconced in the brand's ultimate expression of luxury and connectivity thanks to a next generation structural architecture, which offers vault like quietness and offers considerable weight savings.
