RIYADH: Some 46 Filipino professional volunteers and IT experts in the fields of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) from the Computer Society of Filipinos International (COMSOFIL) have started conducting a three-month intensive seminar in the various fields of ICT – to be held for 12 consecutive Fridays – from June 3 at the Elite International School in Riyadh. Filipino expatriates who are working and residing in Saudi Arabia, who wish to enhance their technical knowledge and improve their ICT skills for career advancement, now have the opportunity to choose from various ICT cluster courses. There are a total of 22 ICT cluster courses offered to applicants ranging from simple word processing to advanced courses, including: Powerpoint, Computer Fundamentals, Electronic Spreadsheet (EXCEL), Web Development (HTML), MS Access, Visual Basics, 3D Max Modelling, 3D Max Vray, Microstation for AUTOCAD Users, Basic Autocad, Advanced Autocad-3D Modeling, Adobe Illustrator, Advanced Photoshop, Basic Photoshop, PC Assembly-Laptop Repair Technician, Basic Electronics, Basic Digital Photography, Networking 1, Networking 2, Basic Digital Video Editing, Web Design with 3D Max and Adobe After Effects.
