RIYADH/DAMMAM: International Indian School Riyadh (IISR) and International Indian School Dammam (IISD) have excelled in the New-Delhi based Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X results declared Tuesday. Over 1,000 students appeared for 10th grade examinations from Riyadh that includes 724 students from IISR, which has the largest enrollment and six private schools. Under the grading system A1 represents above 91 score, similarly B1 is 81 to 90, while D is for 33 to 40 marks, and E1 and E2 are below 33. The grades also have equivalent points which start from 10 for A1 to 4 for D. As the exact marks will not be revealed, these points can be multiplied with 9.5 to get the average marks represented by the grades. From International Indian Public School (IISP) 14 students from a total 41 secured A1 grade in all subjects. Yara International School said out of 24 eight students got A1 in all subjects. “Girls dominated the result with only one boy achieving A1 in all subjects,” said Muhammad Ashraf of YISR. New Middle East International School (NMEIS) posted a 100 percent result. Students from other schools that secured A1 grade include five from Al-Yasmine International School, Delhi Public School (five), Al-Huda International School (three), Al-Alia (one). In IISD, out of 836 students, 83 secured A1 grades. Al-Khozama International School also secured 100 percent results for the third consecutive year. The toppers with complete A1 with CGPA 10 in all subjects are Nikita Susan Abraham, Kristein Issac, Amanda Carol Fernandes, Sameer Yousef Sharief and Mohammed Sajjad.
