Zanga Zanga but in London
Published in Alriyadh on 10 - 09 - 2011

If the residence is to your right in the Edgware Road in London, then after no more than twenty meters of the road left side a bystreet comes with some cafes and restaurants, and you will find an astonishing name of a café to your life on your way out of the main street towards this bystreet. The astonishing name that is written with a big font that you can read from more than one hundred meters is Zanga.. Zanga.. Zanga. Of course it grabbed the attention of the Arab tourists where you find a lot of them stopping by and read the name, exchanging smiles among each other without being embarrassed of loudly saying: Yes, zanga zanga zanga, but in London and without Al Qathafi, which means no bullets or fear.
I stood in front of the café before Ramadan by approximately one week, and I was like the others that read the name of the café, and I assert that Britain's zanga is no more than sarcastic. But after a while, the same zanga zanga situation happened in one of London's streets, where colored-skin locals used violence for some personal interests, and the event was shocking in a city that no other capital competes with security wise.
You find yourself setting next to a minster or a businessman around your table in the café or restaurant, and there is nothing more special in the treatment of the service he gets than what you get and you walk around at any place and you sense the justice, strict law and an amazing respect to the freedom of all people. But where did this reaction come from? It was not engendered by the personal split of these individuals that attempted to strike some stores to rob what was inside, nor any other divisions and the competition of those that gain their interests by this way. The seriousness of the judiciary on this phenomenon was not due to the richness of the security qualification only, but also to the immunity of the British citizens towards any criminal act of such kind. Few days and this weird phenomenon was eliminated, in addition to the impossibility of a British Qathafi existence that is able to lead this cruelty and then empty his abilities among the society. The European citizens would not develop Al Qathafi's phenomenon for many reasons, most notably is that the illegal ways of the individuals to reach the control position of the people's minds is impposible to exist.
How many years did Al Qathafi rule? No European leader can be prominent by quarter of the time that Al Qathafi ruled, where people rule their selves according to systems and legal deterrents, and when the European leader, especially the British, leaves his presidency, he goes back to his home just like any employee than finished his responsibility time.
There is a huge difference and long years that the citizens need to know that democracy is not just a term or a way to attract some sectors against others, and that freedom is not just an umbrella where anyone sector can stand under to insult another sector. The Arab world has a lot of years until it can reach the democracy qualification or the freedom of professional and national practices.
