The royal court issued the following statement: The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has received a message from Yemeni President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi. Following is the text: Dear brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, May Allah's peace, mercy and blessings be upon you. In my name and on behalf of the people and the Government of the Republic of Yemen, I am pleased to express my sincere wishes of constant good health and happiness for Your Majesty, and steady progress for the Saudi brotherly people under your wise leadership. You may pursue the delicate and critical conditions experienced by your brothers in Yemen because of the Houthi coup against the constitutional legitimacy; as we were forced by Houthis to depart from Sanaâ€TMa for the south of Yemen (Aden), which enjoys better conditions enabling us to follow up the administration of the State at this difficult and critical time. Emanating from the same position, we call on our brothers in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to continue their constructive role by holding a conference to be attended by all Yemeni political strata wishing to maintain Yemen's security and stability under the umbrella of the Gulf Cooperation Council in Riyadh, so that the conference aims to the following: Maintaining the security and stability of Yemen within the framework of adherence to the legitimacy, rejection of the coup against it, non-dealing with the so-called Constitutional Declaration, rejection of its legitimization, the return of arms and military equipment to the State, the return of the State to extend its authority over all Yemeni territories, getting Yemen out of the dilemma to safety in order to ensure the return of matters to normalcy, the resumption of the political process in accordance with the Gulf initiative and its executive mechanism and the outputs of the national dialogue, and that Yemen shall not become the headquarters for terrorist and extremist organizations and be a hotbed for them. In continuation of the firm positions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to stand by the brotherly people of Yemen, and emanating from the basis that the security of the GCC States and the security of Yemen are as whole and indivisible, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud directed to transfer of the desire of President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi to the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council. The GCC States have expressed their welcome and positive response to the request of Yemeni President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi to hold the conference under the umbrella of the Gulf Cooperation Council in Riyadh, and that the GCC Secretariat shall set all the necessary arrangements for this. We pray to Allah Almighty to maintain brotherly Yemen and bestow upon the Yemeni people security and stability.
