With reference to the article "Special Nitaqat status for expat children, hubby of Saudi women" by Abdul Rahman Al-Misbahi (Jan. 12), we are very thankful to our King for giving our children recognition and some facilities to become Saudi citizens. But there are no clear answers as to what will happen to the children when a Saudi mother passes away. It seems that all the systems which apply to expatriates will be applied to them. Are they expats? Their mother is a Saudi and these children should be given Saudi nationality just like the children of Saudi men. Allah have created everyone equal but why do we discriminate?
