Japanese shares dropped Tuesday morning after overnight losses on Wall Street and as export-oriented issues were dragged down by the yen's gains against major currencies. The benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average lost 85.16 points, or 0.89 per cent, to trade at 9,435.73 at the end of the morning session at 11:30 am (0230 GMT). The broader Topix index shed 6.61 points, or 0.82 per cent, at 797.66, according to a report of DPA.
