Pakistan's Prime Minister Yousef Riza Jilani received here today Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who is currently visiting Pakistan. During the audience which took place at the Cabinet Court in the Pakistani capital of Islamabad, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them. The Deputy Foreign Minister told the Prime Minister that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud wishes the Pakistani people every development and prosperity. For his part, Jilani expressed satisfaction over the firm historical relations binding the two friendly countries, confirming that the visit of Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to Pakistan would have a positive role in promoting more relations between the two countries. He thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the humanitarian assistance it has provided for the needy in Pakistan following floods and earthquakes that hit the country recently. He also underscored the importance of convening joint ministerial meetings between the two countries to reach a joint mechanism that would enable the two sides to give a strong boost for cross-trade to match with the level of the distinguished relations that bind Pakistan with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Jilani added that his government would dispatch a trade delegation to the Kingdom to probe new trade potentials to enhance commercial relations between the two countries.
