The United Arab Emirates Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Kirkash; Kuwait's Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and Bahrain's Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmad bin Mohammad Al Khalifa arrived here this morning to attend the Arab Foreign Ministers conference, starting its deliberations this afternoon to make preparations for the 23rd Arab Summit, scheduled to open tomorrow. The Arab Foreign Ministers will discuss several topics of (the summit's) agenda, notably the current situation in Syria, the Palestinian issue and the latest situation in Somalia. The Ministers' recommendations will be presented in the form of a final statement to the Arab Summit. The final statement will also include the recommendations of the Arab Ministers of Finance and Economy, which they adopted during a meeting held in Baghdad yesterday. These include the adoption of three strategies in spheres of water security, disaster reduction and tourism.
