France's Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Alean Juppe concluded an official visit to Tunisia today, vowing that his country strongly supports the two-state solution for the Palestinian problem. In a press conference at the end of a two-day visit to Tunisia, Juppe said his country would pursue its support for direct Palestinian Israeli negotiations to reach the two-state solution. On the other hand, he said France also supports the Arab League's initiative to send a monitoring team to oversee the situation in Syria.
