Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Gosaibi, Minister of Economy and Planning, highlighted the accelerating developments witnessed by the Saudi Korean relations, noting that a number of promising opportunities to further enhance cooperation in various fields in a way that serves the two peoples are in the offing. Addressing the Final Reporting and Major Workshop which was held at the headquarters of the Ministry to review the results of the Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP) in its second year in a row expressed the Kingdom's appreciation of the program which offers a good opportunity for Saudi Arabia to benefit from the Korean experience in several fields chosen by the Kingdom. During the meeting, also attended by Korean former Minister of Labor, his delegation and Korea's ambassador to the Kingdom Jong Yong Kim, the minister said the program has made great strides in four fields of concern to the Kingdom. They include the executive aspect of development plans, building and enhancing capabilities in the field of using nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, enhancing the development march in the field of elementary education and establishing a smart network system for electricity. The minister explained that Saudi Arabia has chosen four more fields for next year. A number of governmental and semi-governmental authorities take part in KSP, including Ministry of Education, Ministry of Higher Education, Ministry of Culture and Information, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, King Saud University and the National Program for Industrial Complexes.
