Prince Faisal Ibn Khalid Ibn Abdulaziz, Governor of Asir Province, who is also Chairman of the Board of Abha Prize patronized here on Tuesday evening the handing-over ceremony of the Prize for the year 1431 / 1432 in the presence of Prince Faisal Ibn Abdullah Ibn Mohammed Al Saud, Minister of Education, who is the guest of honor, and Kuwaiti Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Hamad Bin Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah. In his speech, the Governor of Asir congratulated the winners of the Prize, announcing that Abha Prize for National Service was won by the Ministry of Transport for its distinctive works, congratulating the Minister of Transport Dr. Jubarah Eid Al-Suraysiri who received the Prize. In another speech, the Minister of Education expressed his thanks to the Governor of Asir for selecting him as the guest of honor of the Prize for this year. Later, the Governor of Asir and the Minister of Education handed over prizes to winners in the branches of Scientific Talent and Excellence to students; information technology to the Principality of Riyadh Province; e-sites to King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah; e-information sites to Riyadh Newspaper; e-services sites to College of Technology in Abha; e-medical sites to Saudi Commission for Health Specialties; and culture.
