Awwal 19, 1432 / April 23, 2011, SPA -- An explosion occurred on a railroad in Dagestan on Saturday. The incident took place on the Kizilyurt-Temirgoye railroad of the North Caucasian Railway at 06:00 Moscow time. An explosive device went off on the tracks when a train consisting of a locomotive and two platforms was passing there, a Makhachkala transport police source told Itar-Tass. "Nobody was hurt. The train was not derailed. The blast destroyed two ties and a rail. The traffic is halted on the section. The site is cordoned off. Suspicious wire has been found nearby. So, additional examination is needed. After that, a repair team will begin working there", the source said.
