Riyadh Governor Receives President of Bashkortostan

Prince Salman Ibn Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Province received here today President Rustem Khamitov of Bashkortostan, a federal subjects of the Russian Federation.
Khamitov and his accompanied delegates are on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to attend Jeddah Economic Forum 2011.
During the reception, a number of topics pertaining to enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries came up for discussion.
Among the attendants of the reception was Russian Ambassador to the Kingdom Oleg Ozerov.
Bashkortostan is one of 21 federal republics of Russia with Ufa as its capital. It derived its name from its native people the Bashkirs.
