The passenger who was near him was not injured. A criminal case is opened under the Criminal Code over "the attempt to murder" and "Illicit weapon trafficking". An investigation is underway to establish who are involved in the crime. Late on Friday, another attempt was committed to kill a candidate to the People's Assembly of Dagestan Alibulat Gasanov. He was wounded. In heavy condition he was hospitalized. In the shooting, his brother was killed. According to the Interior Ministry, at 22:50 Moscow time, in the village of Madzhalis, unknown persons fired at the car Mercedes, in which were Alibulat Gasanov and his brother Alikurban who was at the wheel. Gasanov is registered as a candidate of the Kaitag district group of the Russian Communist Party's Dagestan branch.
