A delegation of Australian University of Canberra headed by the University Rector Professor Xu Huang has visited the College of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Al-Kharj. During the visit, the delegation met with Dean of the College Dr. Abdullah Al-Juma'ah and reviewed with him the college's programs and activities and ways of bolstering cooperation in areas of joint research and student exchange and scholarship programs. This has been the first scientific and research-oriented meeting between the University of Canberra and Al-Kharj University. On the sidelines of the meeting, Prof. Xu Huang also delivered a lecture on the techniques of digital signal-processing and its applications in information security. He also mingled with the students and spoke to them about the nature of academic studies at Australian Universities, and programs to develop the level of English language.
