"Research cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Japan in strategic areas of petroleum refining and petrochemicals has been multi-pronged. One of the ways to sustain and increase the research cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Japan has been to organize pertinent seminars and symposia," he said in a statement carried today by KFUPM web-site Shigeru Endo, Japan's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia extended his hearty congratulations to KFUPM, JCCP and the Japan Petroleum Institute (JPI) on the occasion of 20th anniversary of the Symposium. "Further, while I am joining in the celebration of the 20th anniversary, let us remind us of the efforts of those who started this symposium nearly 20 years ago.
