Hijjah 24, 1431, Nov 30, 2010, SPA -- An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.9 hit Japan's Kanto region Tuesday, said the Japan Meteorological Agency. The focus of the quake was located 480 km under the sea west of the Ogasawara Islands, said the agency. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage to properties, and no tsunami warning was issued.
