Qa'dah 22, 1431 H/Oct 30, 2010, SPA -- Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, Minister of Culture and Information held here this evening a meeting with the Egyptian Minister of Information Anas Al-Fiqi who is currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During the meeting, the relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt at the field of media were discussed. An agreement on media cooperation for the exchange and broadcasting of programs, radio and television recordings available to each party was also signed in this meeting, especially the programs which aim at the definition of the history of the two countries and their civilizations and features of life at both of them. The agreement also included the intellectual property's rights, commercial-based exchange, visits and training in addition to the joint production, media research, legislations and foreign media. The meeting was attended by Dr. Abdullah Al-Jasser, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information for Information Affairs; Dr. Abdulaziz bin Salamah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information for External Media; Abdulrahman Al-Hazzaa, Supervisor of the Domestic Media, and Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein, Director General of Saudi Press Agency.
