A British teenager has been banned for life from travelling to the United States after sending a "threatening" e-mail to US President Barack Obama, dpa cited police as saying Tuesday. Luke Angel, 17, from Befordshire, north-west of London, was investigated after expressing his "dislike" for Obama and the US government, police in the county said. The e-mail had been "full of abusive and threatening language," they added, without giving details. "He was told that he wouldn't be able to go to America," a police spokeswoman said, according to the BBC. When confronted by police officers who had gone to his home on the instruction of London's Metropolitan Police, the boy had said: "Oh dear, it was me," the police woman said. It was a case of a boy "being silly" and no criminal action was being taken, she added.
