Subaiey. “Our hook has been to use AOC's contributions to the company's mega projects as the red thread connecting the different parts of the website,” Al-Subaiey said. “I am particularly proud that we have managed to translate our internal structure and functions to a holistic overview of our activities that can easily be understood by external parties.” The redevelopment project was a global effort involving personnel in Dhahran, China, Japan, India, Singapore, the UK and Italy. The new site does not only detail how to do business with AOC, providing vendors and contractors with online access to a variety of downloadable documents, but also draws together all the information on AOC's community outreach program. To communicate the breadth of AOC's activities around the world, the site is enriched with a built in Flash-enabled interactive map. To be sure the site is kept up-to-date, a day-to-day content management system has been implemented. Further development will continue in coming months.
