The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, delivered an address on the occasion of blessed Eid Al-Fitr for the year 1431H. Following is the text of the address, read on the media by Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja: "In the name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Gracious. Praise be to Allah, and prayers and peace be on Prophet Mohammed and his family and companions. Dear Brothers and Sisters, Peace and Mercy of Allah be upon you all and many happy returns. We bid farewell to the blessed month of Ramadan, after Allah Almighty has honored us to fast and pray during this holy month. We wish that Allah Almighty has already granted us success through using the days and nights of Ramadan to seek worshipping Him and endorsing for us His forgiveness, mercy and satisfaction. Praise be to Allah Almighty that this holy month, which we have enjoyed very much, comes every year as a great occasion for introspection and doing good deeds. We ask Allah Almighty to accept our deeds, grant us His mercy and keep us away from hell. Dear Brothers and Sisters, Following this holy month, Eid comes with happiness, joy and pleasure as a reward by Allah Almighty for the Muslims after spending the month of Ramadan in fasting and doing good deeds.
