Dr Adnan Basha, the secretary general of The International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO), an affiliate of The Muslim World League (MWL), has reiterated the keenness of IIRO on cementing cooperation with Khartoum-based international University of Africa for extending humanitarian services to poor people, orphans and widows as well as divorced women and displaced people throughout the world. The remarks of Dr Adnan came during his meeting here today with Dr Mohammed Abdel-Maaruf, the assistant director general of the International University of Africa for development of resources, and the accompanying delegation. Dr al-Basha confirmed the readiness of IIRO to extend support to the International University of Africa, which includes 8,000 students from various nationalities.
