The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud has approved the selection of President of Al Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMAMU) Dr. Suleiman bin Abdullah Aba Al-Khail, as President of Executive Council of Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW). The Federation's 5th General Conference, which was held in Baku in Azerbaijan on 28/5/1431, took a decision appointing Dr. Aba Al-Khail as President of Executive Council of Federation, in its new session. Dr. Aba Al-Khail's selection for this position came in line with the leading position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the joint Islamic action, and coincides with the Kingdom's hosting of the next session of the General Conference of the Federation. On his part, Dr. Aba Al-Khail expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the King for this approval which confirms the leading role and distinguished position of the Kingdom at Islamic and international arenas.
