India and Afghanistan Friday discussed a wide range of bilateral and regional issues, besides reviewing developmental partnership between the two countries. Deputy Foreign Minister of Afghanistan Eklil Ahmad Hamiki, who was here at the invitation of Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao, held "regular foreign office consultations" between the two countries, according to a press release by the Indian External Affairs Ministry quoted by the Press Trus of India (PTI). "The two sides discussed a wide range of bilateral, regional and multilateral issues of mutual interest. They also reviewed their development partnership and agreed to continue their consultations," it said.
