Pakistan Urges World Community To Stay Engaged But Not Interfere in Afghan Affairs UNITED NATIONS, July 03, 2010, SPA -- While reaffirming its commitment to further strengthen its friendly ties with Afghanistan, Pakistan has urged the international

term objectives of peace, stability and development in Afghanistan can only be realized by respecting its sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity,” ambassador Abdullah Hussain Haroon told the UN Security Council.
At the same time, the Pakistan envoy said peace and economic development in Afghanistan was contingent upon a stable Government in Kabul, enjoying the majority support of the Afghan people.
