The Saudi Arabian Equestrian Federation (SAEF) is representing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the 33rd conference of Asian Equestrian Federation (AEF), which began its seven-day deliberations yesterday in Sydney, Australia. Horse-racing in the Kingdom receives substantial support from the Saudi leadership, said Rashid Abdulmohsen Al Zunaidi, Director General of SAEF who is heading the Saudi delegation at the conference. "Saudi officials have been focusing on activating cooperation in the field of horse-racing and other equestrian events, and giving more momentum to participating in international forums and international institutions and sporting bodies so as to ensure the active Arab presence in these institutions," he added.
