Kuwait's Interior Ministry denied on Sunday press reports about a gunfire shooting that targeted a Kuwaiti border patrol across the border line from the Iraqi side. The ministry, in a press statement, categorically denied these reports affirming that the relations between the State of Kuwait and the brotherly Republic of Iraq are good with cordial bonds and communications grouping the two brotherly countries. The Kuwaiti-Iraqi borders have been secure, and there is full cooperation between the Kuwaiti and Iraqi border forces for maintaining security in the frontier region, KUNA quoted the ministry as affirming.
