Majlis Al-Shura in its 6th session chaired by the Speaker Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al Asheikh reviewed here today the comprehensive contents included in the speech of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz last Sunday. Members hailed the contents of the speech and considered it as a working program not only for Al-Shura but also for the whole government, ministers and officials due to its important, plain, frank and transparent directives. On his part, the Speaker directed heads of specialized committees within Al-Shura to draw a framework based on the aspects and contents of the speech in order to be guided by it in studying submitted issues. Dr. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, the Secretary General of Al-Shura said the council approved a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Higher Education in the Kingdom and the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Culture of the Federal Republic of Austria for cooperation in all fields of higher education.
