As many as 10, 050 Saudi new publications were deposited in King Fahd National Library in 1430H. The publications include books, maps, scientific and digital means as well as audio-visual materials, an increase of 1, 330 publications than the previous year, in addition to 14, 892 editions of Saudi newspapers and magazines issued in 1430H and the previous years. It is noteworthy that the total intellectual Saudi publications deposited in the library amounted to 194,500 in all languages in the period from 1300-1430H, as well as 288,320 copies of Saudi new and old newspapers and magazines.
