Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) has approved the Commission's trip entitled " For the Kingdom, Discover our Architectural Heritage" which will be launched from Riyadh on February 09, 2010. This discovery mission will involve more than 50 drivers from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and Jordan, who will undertake the travel throughout the Kingdom on motorbikes and cars. The trip aims to highlight the tourist sites in general and architectural heritage in particular, as well as engage in promoting the cause of the 1st Conference of Architectural Heritage in Islamic Countries which will be held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz.
