Education Minister honors Students excelled in IJSO

Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Saud, Minister of Education received here today 3 Saudi students who excelled in the Sixth International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) concluded in December 2009, in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Ahmed Mohammed Burhan from Najd Secondary School, Riyadh won the Gold Medal in 2000 m steeplechase in 5.49.99 minutes.
Ebrahim Eisa Abdullah from Al Aredh Private High School won the silver Medal in 3000 M with 8.54 Minute.
Suleiman Homoud Al Matroudi from Bishr bin Al Bara Intermediate School who won the Bronze in the International Junior Science Olympiad.
Prince Faisal expressed happiness towards these excellent achievements which ascertained brilliance of Saudi youth.
He also hailed the collaborative efforts of students, teachers, schools in Riyadh"s Education Administration, which resulted in these encouraging achievements.
The reception was attended by the Ministry"s senior officials.
