A Russian major has been sacked from his job for sending a video message criticizing bad pay and too much overtime to Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, the Russian Interfax newswire reported, , according to dpa. Alexey Dymovsy, 32, based at Novorossiysk on the Black Sea, had also complained about the alleged arrest of innocent people and corruption in video clips to the former president. Following his messages, the police authorities in Krasnodar had decided to remove him from his post for slandering colleagues, a spokesperson of the Interior Ministry was quoted as saying. The video messages which were also posted to the internet had prompted considerable attention and stirred debate among Russian political circles.
