Saudi purebred Arabian horses have occupied premium places at Dubai Int'l Horse Race 2009, it was reported here today. During the race, which was held at Newberry field in England yesterday in the presence of Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Minister of Finance of the United Arab Emirates and Deputy Governor of the Emirate of Dubai and Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz, Kuwaish, a horse bred at Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz's stable, came first in the third set while Tapelo, initiated at Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz stable of Azba, ranked first in the fifth set. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahayan gave away the trophies and prizes to Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz and to Mushrif bin Mutlaq, who represented Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz's stable.
