Minister of Transport Dr Jubara al-Sireisiri has underlined the importance of applying vehicles technology. Speaking at the inaugural session of the first workshop on systems of vehicles here today, he said this technology aims at improving efficiency and safety of transporting goods and passengers. He noted that the ministry of transport has conducted studies in this respect and it is planning to establish an information center in this field. On his part, Abdulrahman Al-Jeraisey, the chairman of Riyadh chamber of commerce and industry said the workshop will shed light on the usage of systems of vehicles and said this technology will a have a positive impact on the transport sector. On the other hand, Saud Al-Nifei'ei, the head of the transport committee at the chamber, underlined the importance of developing the transport sector, and praised the role of the transport ministry in this regard. Later Dr Al-Suraiseri opened the exhibition organized on the fringe of the workshop. In a press statement after opening the exhibition, he said this technology will ease pressure on the roads and streets and will have a positive impact on security matters because it will show mistakes committed during driving the vehicles. These systems will serve the companies and spare large sums of money, he said.
