Under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the World Understanding Council concluded here today its 27th annual meeting held at King Abdullah Economic City and lasted for three days. Concluding its session, the Council issued a final statement in which he made clear that the concluded session discussed the current political, economic and security status of today's world, pointing out that it was preceded by a seminar on the Islamic-Christian dialogue titled under "Common Roots of Islam and Christianity" as a contribution of the Council to the dialogue of religions. "The world today lives in an environment of economic and technical globalization and, therefore, the concept for which we should work in this century is the cooperation in all aspects of thought and action", the statement added. --More
