US dollar mostly lower in Europe

The U.S. dollar was mostly lower against
other major currencies in European trading Friday morning.
Gold rose, AP reported.
The euro traded at US$1.3406, up from US$1.3373 late
Thursday in New York.
Other dollar rates:
_99.46 Japanese yen, up from 98.99
_1.1288 Swiss francs, down from 1.1309
_1.1668 Canadian dollars, down from 1.1740
The British pound was quoted at US$1.5050, up from
$1.4996.
Gold traded in London at US$912.75 per troy ounce, up from
US$912.25 late Thursday.
