At least eight persons including seven policemen and a Frontier Constabulary personnel were killed in powerful car bomb blast in Badabar area in outskirts of provincial capital on Saturday morning, CCPO Safwat Ghayor told Associated Press of Pakistan (APP). The unidentified attackers detonated the explosive packed car with remote control device at Masogar area when the policemen started search of it. CCPO said that inquiry into the incident has been ordered and police on entry and exit points had been alerted for arrest of the perpetrators. He said that security has already been beefed up in the city and police are keeping close vigil on the movement of suspected elements.
